On Monday the 31st of July and Tuesday the 1st of August, we are planning to run a series of half day and full day pre-conference workshops addressing the following issues:
- How can psychology support front-line workers in the reception and inclusion of Ukrainian refugees? What do we need to know about the trauma of displacements, the geopolitical and inter-ethnic characteristics specific to the Ukrainian-Russian-European relationships, about dealing with the cultural adaptations, social and economic inclusion of refugees in host societies.
- How can psychology contribute to sustainability challenges? What do we need to know about behavioural change, about normative influence and climate activism?
- Promoting intercultural competencies applied to different settings: education, migration and the refugee displacement and relocation, sustainability challenges
- Enhancing Professional and Research Skills: how to use R, how to design and conduct community needs assessments, how to write research-based and research-dissemination policy briefs, how to engage with open science.
