CODE OF CONDUCT
This code of conduct applies to all participants, members of the Association, Officers, elected members, and any guests at IACCP-endorsed meetings or activities. The International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP, Inc.) aims to stimulate productive, enjoyable, and safe experiences at its conferences, Culture and Psychology Schools (CPS), and other professional events sponsored or represented by delegates of IACCP. We are dedicated to encouraging an environment of collegiality and mutual respect for all members, who represent diversity in nationality and ethnic background, sex, gender identity, affinity orientation, age, abilities, appearance, and religion. Attendance at an IACCP-sponsored meeting or activity, including any extracurricular activities that occur during IACCP-organized events, requires that all registered individuals and guests follow a code of conduct that stipulates that you will: (1) treat others with respect and (2) not engage in discrimination, intimidation, harassment, and/or abuse at these events or at any social activities associated with, or occurring during, these events. IACCP Culture & Psychology School July 28th – 31st, 2023
The Culture & Psychology (C&P) School, sponsored by the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology (IACCP), is open to students at PhD and MSc level who are interested in culture and psychology. The C&P School provides a research-intensive and interactive experience for participants from various universities to learn from one another and to receive specialized training from experts in different fields that incorporate culture in their study of psychology. Darla K. Deardorff joins IACCP as Keynote Speaker
We are excited to announce that Darla K. Deardorff has joined the list of keynote speakers for this year's IACCP conference in Limerick. Darla is Executive Director of the Association of International Education Administrators (AIEA), as well as a Research Scholar at Duke University, USA. She is an EAIE trainer. She holds a Master’s degree in adult education with a focus on second language acquisition and a Doctorate degree in education with a focus on international higher education. Darla has lived and taught abroad in Germany, Switzerland and Japan and is a faculty member at several universities around the world including in China, Japan, the USA and South Africa. She has conducted cross-cultural training for universities, companies and non-profit organisations for nearly 25 years and is frequently invited to give talks around the world. IACCP offers travel assistance to IACCP members to facilitate their attendance of the upcoming Regional Conference. Travel awards are meant to, in particular, support members from the particular region that would otherwise not be represented at the conference. The Solidarity Outreach Scheme (SOS) financially facilitates the participation of IACCP members who, for unexpected reasons, cannot cover expenses associated with attendance at the conference. I hope you are as thrilled as I am that we will finally hold a face-to-face conference for the first time since 2019!
